Though you may pick up an idea or find inspiration along the way, this is primarily a writing tool to help you stretch your mind to the limits, by using the exact opposite advice on how to begin your next best seller. You will write characters you'd never thought of writing. You'll write about places you've never seen. That romance novel you've been meaning to write will suddenly take a back seat to a Sci-Fi adventure. You will hate it. You will be uncomfortable. You will be completely bummed out at the end when you realize you have written something akin to an 8th grade book report. But you will have fun. And the next time you pick up your pen, or open that blank document file, you will breathe a sigh of relief that you are where you should be.

This document is filled with questions and writing prompts that will help guide you through writing a very, very short story (as far from your choosing as possible). While it will provide you with some information, it is mostly aimed at writers mostly knowledgable about the parts of a story.

HOW TO PRINT THE FILES: 
For nicest results, use 32 lb., paper, but any paper you prefer will do. Print at 100% file size, using single-sided printing. No trimming is needed. Margins are already set to allow for 3-hole punching.
